AllPro 542 Spray Bedliner
A fast-setting, 100% solids polyurea hybrid for high-pressure plural-component rigs. AllPro private labels this chemistry as AllPro 542. On the truck it is the VFI-542 high-pressure spray bedliner.
A set is both drums on one item. Do not order the barrels separately. Call or text Big John at 205-913-1534, or email bigjohn@allprob2b.com.

The 50-gallon set
A set is both drums on one item. Order the black poly and the iso together from the drum set page. Do not order APL542BLK-50 and APL542ISO-50 as separate part numbers. The one-set weekly limit covers AllPro 542 until supply is back to normal.
This is the VFI-542 drum set. AllPro private labels it as AllPro 542. The set item includes the black poly (B side) and the iso (A side).
Both drums on one item.
What it does on the truck
Same claims the manufacturer publishes for this formula. Nothing added.
Fine texture
The last pass is sprayed over the surface, not into it. That grit is what keeps cargo from sliding. Recommended build is 80 mils, heavier on the floor if the job calls for it.
Impact and seal
57 D, 2,410 psi tensile, 80% elongation, 241 pli tear. A seamless membrane over a prepped bed. Water does not get under it, which is the rust protection.
Quiet, no solvents
The coating damps vibration in the bed. 100% solids, 0 VOC. Do not thin it. Not UV stable if the truck lives outside. Plan a topcoat if color hold is part of the quote.
What it is
AllPro 542 is a fast-setting, 100% solids polyurea hybrid spray-on bedliner. Once cured it forms a seamless membrane that keeps water off the metal. The fine texture from a high-pressure gun gives cargo a slip-resistant surface and quiets vibration in the bed.
Built for shops already spraying with a high-pressure plural-component rig. Minimum constant pressure is 2,000 psi. Not a cartridge or low-pressure formula.
- 2,410 psi tensile strength and 80% elongation.
- 241 pli tear strength (Die C).
- Adhesion of 675 lb/in² on prepared steel and 825 lb/in² on prepared concrete.
- Recommended film build of 80 mils. Light use in 4 hours, full use in 24 hours, full cure in 5 days.
Who it is for
- Shops with a high-pressure plural-component rig that can hold 2,000 psi.
- Dealers who need chemical now, while the new program comes together.
- Work trucks and fleet beds where a fine texture and a watertight seal matter more than the name on the drum.
Application
For a trained applicator. This is the manufacturer process for VFI-542, the chemistry in the AllPro 542 drums.
- Strip and clean. Pull hardware you do not want coated. Wipe with acetone or MEK. Let it dry.
- Mask. Wire tape on the cut line, wire inside and tape outside. Mask the rest of the truck.
- Scuff, do not grind to bare metal. Wire cup brush or 40-grit. Wipe again and let it dry.
- Primer only if the surface needs it. Usually not required on prepared metal. Approved primers are VFI-#11, VFI-1016, and VFI-1017.
- Condition and premix. Material at a minimum of 65°F. Premix the B side until uniform. Spray between 40°F and 100°F ambient.
- Spray. 2,000 psi constant minimum. VFI high-pressure guidance for this method is 2,000 psi at 150-155°F. Sides and bulkhead first, then the floor. Build to 80 mils. Last pass is texture.
- Return to service. Wait 20 minutes, then pull wire tape at 45° toward the sprayed surface. Light use in 4 hours. Full use in 24 hours. Full cure in 5 days.
Rig and handling
- Plural-component high-pressure spray only. Minimum 2,000 psi constant.
- A side and B side at 1:1 by volume.
- Viscosity: 900 cps iso, 800 cps poly.
- Gel 4 seconds. Tack-free 28 seconds.
- Cleanup: xylene or MEK, flushed until the lines are clear.
- Store 60-90°F. Unopened shelf life is 12 months from manufacture.
- Once open, put a desiccant cartridge on both drums.

Safety
Read the safety data sheet before you spray. The iso side is irritating to skin and toxic if inhaled. Use it in a ventilated booth with the right respirator.
- Eyes: safety glasses, plus a face shield when spraying.
- Hands: nitrile, butyl, or neoprene.
- Body: chemical-resistant clothing.
- Lungs: supplied air, or a respirator matched to the exposure.
